Usually the LBJ Express highlights a contractor working on the LBJ Express project. This month, the LBJ Express would like to spotlight a local business located in the heart of the LBJ corridor. We are proud to introduce the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. The Arthur Murray Dance Studio has been in Dallas for over 18 years and at its current location on the LBJ Express for 11. This family business is owned and managed by Zack Stevens. Stevens and his wife both work at the studio while raising their four children. Stevens admits that the construction along the LBJ Express is at times worrisome but he also understands the need for the project. "I am able to be positive during this time," Stevens said. "I can certainly see and feel the changes coming with construction, but you can't fear change, this is a necessary thing." Stevens continued. The Arthur Murray Dance Studio is currently training many local celebrities for an upcoming fundraiser similar to the popular television show, "Dancing with the Stars." Stevens said the celebrities ask him about the construction and he tells them he is able to remain positive and look forward to the end result. Finally, Zack Stevens noted that he appreciates the communication and efforts by the LBJ Express to keep the business community informed during the construction process.
